Therefore, we went back to the drawing boards to figure out exactly how we could make sure that students can take advantage of our extremely necessary services, without having to worry about how each dollar is spent in the school system. We needed to find someway, somehow to bring our communities together in order to turn this vision into a reality.

It was by fate alone that we crossed paths with an extraordinarily inspiring individual that with strength and courage, proved that dreams really do come true...

We would like to introduce The PeaceKeepers Individuality Enhancement Group as our efforts towards instilling positive motivation within the students involved with "Project: Unity." Founded by Amanda Heffle (Buffalo), The PeaceKeepers IEG is a well-rounded initiative which aims to provide a reliable and judgment-free channel for expressing your true self in a comfortable setting that encourages natural individuality. Our groups meet bi-weekly, with new chapters forming everyday. Our ultimate goal is to have the support systems developed through our Individuality Enhancement Groups incorpoarted into the school setting, allowing for all students the opportunity of advancing their positive self-esteem.

Without futher adieu,

What We Do:

There continues to be an advocation of diversity and acceptance through various programs offered in schools, but not one that takes each student's personal growth into main consideration. Therefore, all of us at "Project: Unity" decided that it was time to co-create some sort of support system that would allow for our students to maximize their self-worth to the fullest potential.

In today's world, there is a desperate need for an outlet that our children can utilize as a place to not only feel equal, but to know deep down that their ideas and personal attributes are something to embrace as beautifully unique individuality.

Unfortunately, we have run into an issue as the budgeting allowances set forth by many school districts are not able to fund ANY program that is not looked at as "pertinent" to the well-being of their students...(Even though we are certain that our programs help contribute major support to our members, that is sadly just the way the world works!)

Our meetings of The PeaceKeepers Individuality Enhancement Groups have been designed to:

Create.

Educate.

& Communicate.

CREATE: The PeaceKeepers bring a whole new meaning to thinking "outside of the box." Not only do we live by this through creative expression & exercises to open our minds, but we have also made it our annual mission to co-create new humanitarian ideas that can help change the world. Our discussions include how we can apply our talents for the better good of those around us, our solutions to the modern forms of bullying, and we also tackle global issues that have been deemed impossible by prior generations. All that it takes is a little brainstorming ^_^

EDUCATE: "Project: Unity" will forever make it our top platform to continuously incorporate education of Sustainability, World Conservation, & Environmentalism within each of our programs. Therefore, the meetings of The PeaceKeepers aim to bring an appealing outlook on the small steps each of us can take in order to secure an everlasting supply of the natural resources our world has blessed us with. From the ways to shrink our carbon footprints to the benefits of mycelium, we strive to research and analyze the many points of environmental improvement that are available for us to exemplify.

COMMUNICATE: This group is all about opening ourselves up, to rediscover one's true happiness, & to help each other come to new realizations. The PeaceKeepers want every single person involved to feel as though their voice is heard, and what they have to say is something that is truly important. Never will a "shhhhhh" or "be quiet" be heard at one of our meetings, so we can only hope that the confidence we drum into our students will bear that mindset to the masses.
